LEGO LYMM competition & expo

We have been working on an exciting project with Channel 4's LEGO Master Steve Guinness to create our own version of LEGO Lymm. It's a scene of the ice breaker working in the village centre over 100 years ago. It will go on display at the Heritage Centre from Thursday July 25th and will there all through the summer holidays.

But now it's your turn. Our LEGO Lymm competition will give you the chance to create your own model linked  to Lymm in the past, present or future.   You have all the summer holidays and a little more to get it done and there will be cash prizes presented by Steve himself for the best models as well as the chance to have your model on show at the Heritage Centre.

Before you rush off to your box of LEGO be sure to read the rules.

If there is anything you don't understand ask an adult to explain it to you.

Come along to the Heritage Centre , Thursday to Sunday 1-5pm from July 25th to see our take on LEGO Lymm. We can't wait to see what yours will be.

You can pick up your entry form and competetion rules there too.

If you have any other questions just drop us a line at

We would like to know how many models to expect. Don't worry if you dont know yet exactly what your model will be, you can add that  later. Complete the  entry form here, but be sure to tell your parent/guardian/carer  first.

There is no entry fee.
