Historical Railway Trail
The Trans Pennine Trail in Lymm is part of the former Warrington to Altrincham railway line. Sustrans, a national walking and cycling charity, has partnered with Lymm Heritage Centre to produce a historical railway trail on the Trans Pennine Trail.
The historical trail starts at the ranger hut, Statham Avenue car park (point 1 on the map). From here it goes east along the Trans
Pennine Trail to Mill Lane in Heatley (point 7 on the map).
And check out all the activities taking place on August 6th
The trail will stay open after the opening on August 6th.
