Opening June 16th to coincide with Lymm Festival and Lymm Boat & Steam Gathering - "The Biggest Thing to Ever Hit Lymm" The story of how Lymm hosted the National Waterways Rally and its 50,000 visitors exactly 50 years ago, helping to prevent the closure of the Bridgewater Canal.
PLATINUM JUBILEE -A week full of fabulous memories... and for the Heritage Centre a brief appearance on the BBC One Show of our display window and some our Jubilee pictures.. How cool is that ?! The Centre welcomed over 1,100 visitors in June.
August 6th - Celebrating The Trans-Pennine Trail in Lymm. The Heritage Centre has been pleased to be able to support this Sustrans event.by providing images and info for the trail.
